Zephras, the WoW Forever database
Look up any item, NPC, quest, zone, spell, dungeon, class, or talent in WoW Forever. Items, spells, zones, and talents come from the game's own files; NPCs, quests, drops, and positions come from players who record them in game. Every record names the game build it holds for. Type a name in the search box above, or pick a category below.

Where the data comes from
- The game's own files
- Build 1.60.1.70374: 22,314 items, 31,849 spells, 54 zones with their in-game maps, 9 classes with their talent trees, 58 races, 14 professions with 2,527 recipes, 269 item sets, 52 factions, and 47 dungeons and raids. Read from the WoW Forever client's files, and rebuilt for each game build Zephras checks (the list of builds).
- The game's caches, shared by players
- The quest text, NPC names, and object names the game server sent to players' clients, which the Zephras Uploader shares: 394 quests, 1,397 NPCs, and 1,322 objects so far.
- Players' recordings
- 1,909 NPC sightings from 16 accepted uploads, 208 NPC positions, 150 quest givers and enders, and drop tables for 217 NPCs and objects. The Zephras Collector addon records them during ordinary play; a record is published once a trusted player or two players agree.
Record what the game files cannot tell
Where an NPC stands, what it drops, what a vendor sells, who gives a quest: the game files do not say, so only players can record it. The addon does it while you play; nothing to click.
- Install Zephras Collector 1.5.1 from CurseForge, or let the Zephras Uploader install it for you.
- Play. When you log out or type /reload, the game writes the addon's save file.
- Send the file: the uploader does it by itself after you play, or use the upload page in your browser. Your first file waits for a reviewer; after that, clean files are accepted automatically. Accepted is not yet published: a record appears at the next morning's update once a trusted player or two players agree.
